Expanding on the success of their collaboration in the 2022 Thrive Global Impact Challenge, SVG Ventures|THRIVE and Dairy Australia have today announced a new partnership focused on advancing AgriTech sector engagement and investment to drive sustainability and efficiency outcomes for the Australian dairy sector. 

Through this partnership SVG Ventures|THRIVE will facilitate a range of initiatives with Dairy Australia, aimed at bolstering dairy sector engagement across the AgriTech eco-system. The goal is to cultivate a robust pipeline of commercial innovation that directly tackles key challenges within the dairy industry.

The Dairy industry globally is focused on a range of sustainability and productivity objectives, such as reducing the impact of enteric methane, and implementing technology-driven practice changes across the supply chain to enable a more profitable dairy industry. 

To achieve these outcomes Dairy Australia recognized the need to take a global perspective in sourcing technology solutions that can be trailed in collaboration with Australian dairy farmers. The new partnership with SVG|THRIVE will achieve this by integrating Dairy Australia into the global THRIVE eco-system, connecting with a pipeline of AgriTech start-ups and engaging with the dairy industry on farm and throughout the supply chain. 

Dairy Australia joins a growing list of Dairy industry organizations who have already partnered with SVG|THRIVE, including Land O Lakes, United Farmers of Alberta Co-operative, Ornua and Kerrygold. This collective of partners provides an excellent opportunity for global collaboration and knowledge sharing, to support innovation and dairy farmers.
