SVG Ventures|THRIVE is delighted to announce investment in five new startups who will also join the 9th cohort (THRIVE IX) of their award-winning accelerator program.
The five companies were selected from an applicant pool of over 500 startups from across 75 countries. The competitive selection process, conducted in collaboration with THRIVE’s corporate partners, focused on startups’ potential impact on sustainability as well as commercial success.
The THRIVE Accelerator Program combines an intensive startup curriculum with access to a multitude of resources including investment, access to corporates and investors and tailored mentorship from industry experts within THRIVE’s extensive network. The program provides companies with a strong foundation supporting global growth at an accelerated pace.
To date, THRIVE has graduated over 100 startups through its award-winning program and these startups have created more than $1 billion in value. The program has been acknowledged as the #1 AgTech Accelerator by AgFunder and SVG Ventures has been recognized by Crunchbase as the Most Active AgTech Investor.

The five companies, from Israel, The United States, Italy and Spain will kick off their three-month accelerator program next week in-person in Silicon Valley with attendance at the World Agri-Tech Summit, tours of farms, networking events and more!

Location: Kfar Monash, Israel
Arugga is developing autonomous ground robots to treat and monitor every plant in the greenhouse in order to tackle labor shortages and cost. They aim to become a leading automation solution, and replace more than 25% of manual tasks in the greenhouse. Arugga is proud to bring to the market a solution which will eventually reduce the use of chemicals and the spread of diseases in fruit and vegetable farming, and thus contribute to a healthier and safer planet.

Continuum Ag uses its TopSoil software to equip farmers with soil health data intelligence and provides a Regen Roadmap for agronomic success! Currently spanning 42 states and 20 countries, this farmer-led team is on a mission to help 1 million global farmers profit from improving their soil health!

Location: Genoa, Italy
Cynomys patented IoT solution monitors the environment inside animal farms to help improve animal welfare, decrease the use of antibiotics, increase production and measure carbon emissions. Their devices measure with exact precision and are resistant to the corrosive gases and dust prevalent on farms. Cynomys operates over 200 devices on farms in 17 different countries.

FICOSTERRA is a marine biotechnology company that manufactures plant biostimulants for the optimal agronomic performance of crops. Ficosterra ´s solutions help farmers increase the yield of their crops by means of sustainable and cost-effective biological solutions that ensure better harvests, increase plant resiliency and optimize ROI.

Sensegrass is a soil intelligence platform that uses a combination of AI-based recommendations and soil sensors to deliver real-time soil health analyses and targeted nutrient management.
